The Cabinas

These lovely beachfront cabins are beautifully landscaped, surrounded by coconut palms, bamboo, flowers, and almond trees. The only things separating these four cabins from the beach are the beautiful gardens…they are RIGHT ON THE BEACH.

On the large decks you can sit at a table or swing on a hammock, watch the waves roll in, and the sun set. Each cabin is screened, with fan and hot showers. They each have a kitchen, with all that is needed for morning coffee or cooking your own meals, and a fridge for fruit and drinks.

Each cabin is a small house with privacy and comfort. Only a two minute walk down the beach is the excellent restaurant Sol y Mar. There are also several other local restaurants, from Tico to Italian, within walking distance.

PRICES: Dec 1 to May 1,  $85 per night,  $536 weekly   (plus 13% sales tax).  Off season prices up to 20% off.

Rancho Cabins

One cabin is a jewel, with a palm frond roof, and gorgeous hardwood floors. It sleeps four, with a double bed downstairs and a double bed up in the open loft. This is the cabin pictured at left.

Our fourth cabin is as beautiful as the jewel. The outside features a full-size mural. It sleeps two, with one double bed. It is the same price as the jewel. On the price chart below we refer to these as Ranchos, as “rancho” in Spanish describes a palm frond roofed house.

Banana Cabins

Two of these cabins are quaintly restored Banana Company houses, from the days of the fruit company in Golfito, and one of them is pictured at left.

We moved them to Zancudo and reconstructed them to give the ambience of bygone days.

They sleep three persons each, with a double and single bed, and they are very spacious. They are well laid out and feature hand-painted furniture and lamps.

These beach cabins have tiled floors and large varnished decks overlooking the gardens to the ocean.
